The Vancouver North West Hawks are part of BC Hockey’s AAA zone program. The AAA League was established in 2004 to provide elite level hockey for U18 aged players to play at a higher level to help their development for the next level of hockey. The program has since expanded to 3 Leagues include U15 (13 & 14 year olds), U17 (15 & 16 year olds) and U18 (15, 16 and 17 year olds). There are now 10 zone programs operating in British Columbia (5 in Lower Mainland, 2 on Vancouver Island, 2 in the Okanagan, and 1 in the North) The Vancouver North West zone includes players from Whistler, Squamish, Sunshine Coast, West Vancouver, North Vancouver and parts of Burnaby. We represent 8 Minor Hockey Associations in our zone.
